About me

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in ‘Teaching at elementary level’ from the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem in 2002.

I taught at the Elementary School in Libice nad Cidlinou (20 years).        It was the increasing number of foreign children at the school which inspired me to complete the following:

• A series of seminars “Teaching Czech as a second language”, 2017

  (META, o.p.s. – Association for Opportunities of Young Migrants)

• A series of training courses “Starting to teach Czech as a foreign language”, 2017

  (AUČCJ – Association of Teachers of Czech as a Foreign Language)

I teach Czech in one-on-one lessons and group courses, both privately and in companies. (online or face to face)

I can speak English but I prefer to teach Czech without using an intermediate language.
